I think of of the prettiest parts of a wedding is the stationery that is designed to remind, invite and inform your guests how you are planning to celebrate.
The stationery suite includes everything from The Save the Date that is sent out prior to your event and is now thought of as the engagement announcement. As the date of the wedding or event draws near, the invitation and response card serve to invite your guests and to keep track of who is coming and unfortunetly can not attend. There are a million invitations that are out there that I think are so pretty. However, I like my brides to have something that no other bride in the world has, custom invitiations and stationery done just for her event.
Here you can see a print suite that I designed using original water colors of both birds and flowers. Both the bride and groom love both so it was easy to come up with. The birds first made their appearance on the lovely Save The Dates that were sent out at the end of last year. I did not want to copy that design, but to use it both as an inspiration and evolution to the rest of the print material and stationery suite. Of course the details are evident through the proof that you see below. I can hardly wait to touch the lovely linen paper that we have selected. As a very special finishing touch, the envelopes will display the guests names and addresses in calligraphy done in crisp white. (squeal)
If the guests liked their first glimpse into the wedding, they will be giddy when they start to get these. It will be a few months until they hit the mail, but it is always better to have all the pieces to the suite ready to go. I hate waiting at the last minute for things that sometimes get caught up at the printer.
I would love to discuss your wedding with you and how flowers, decor and print material all play a huge part in the look that you are creating for your big day. I cordially invite you to schedule an appointment with me at Pomfret Florist in Somerset, Massachusetts. If you live far away, I am more than happy to work via e:mail.
