Welcome to CMP

Welcome to my Style Blog where my wedding, event and interior design projects are featured. My team and I are lucky enough to have planned, designed and produced hundreds of weddings in Five Star Hotels and Luxurious Homes from Boston to NYC and such fabulous destinations as Bermuda, Las Vegas, Miami and San Francisco.

In addition, our digital public relations arm works with many creative small businesses to promote their brand through web site development, digital media relations, e:mail marketing campaigns and the integration of social media.

The photography, drawings and weddings that you see featured through out my Style Blog, even the web site itself are done by me, unless otherwise noter. I welcome your questions, comments and feedback.

Enjoy your digital tip toe through the tulips.

My Best Always,

Chad Michael Peters

    Modern Romantic

I am always in the process of going through my photographs. When I came across these photos from a most amazing wedding thrown in the midst of a world class art installation, I just had to share them with you.

I worked with Aileen and her hunky, handsome groom Christian to plan a modern, once in a lifetime, wedding experience in one of my favorite cities in the world, New York.  We had decided that a winter wedding in the city would be something that would leave her guests talking. We planned her wedding ceremony at the famed St. Patrick's Cathedral on 5th Avenune. Aileen looked amazing in her Vera Wang 30's inspired gown. She mad her way down the aisle carring a bouquet of creamy rannunculas.

Her reception was held at the Boathouse in Central Park. Little did we know that the world famous artist, Christo would be unveiling his masterpiece on the very same day. It is crazy in the city. Guests were left amazed with the fluttering saffron fabric and modern artistic interpretation of the gates and were hardly inconvenienced given that there were close to two million people in the park as we were trying to put the finishing touches on pale pink and chocolate wedding.

I love the story of passion that Christo has put not only into this show, but all of the major works that he has installed across the globe. I am so happy to share his original rendering as part of this story. I woke early the next day so before I left the city I would have a chance to take my camera and capture some of this most amazing show.

Thank you Aileen and Christian, not only for having me as your wedding planner and designer, but for your continued support and friendship through the years. It is so appreciated.

This is where I will write about having this wedding in the mist of The Gates. Signature and written reference will also be linked. My photography of the gates will be noted as such.
