Inspired Floral Photography

I understand why so many artists through the course of history have been inspired by flowers. There is something so bewitching about them, their fragile beauty and perfectly arranged palettes of color providing welcome visual respite from the world we live in. Georgia O'Keefe specifically did a whole range of art work inspired by the gorgeous Morning Glory flowers.

I wanted to share with you some fabulous photos of the morning glories that we have growing in our precious garden. I would love to take the credit for growing these beauties but alas I have to give a pat on the back to my every patient husband Kevin. It is sad to think that in just a months time they probably will be hit by the frost. I am happy that I got my camera out to capture their beauty to remember them until next year.
